Position Overview Statement:
Manage projects as assigned. Lead or assist in the planning, scheduling, monitoring, evaluating, validating, and implementing various activities related to construction of a pharmaceutical facility and manufacturing of clinical and commercial materials. May or may not have direct reports. Work closely with the third-party consultants/vendors in accomplishing the project objectives on time and within budget.
Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- With consultation of the upper management, develop project scopes and objectives
- Develop detailed project plan, establish the critical path, and track progress of the project(s) effectively
- Seeking input from upper management and consultants, develop facility drawings
- Establish relationships with the consultants and vendors, interact with them regularly, and communicate with them the specifications and requirements to accomplish the project objectives
- Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
- Track, manage and control the time spent on the projects by consultants and outside vendors for efficient operations
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
- Ensure all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science or related field
- 8+ years of increasingly responsible experience in cGMP environment, including 5+ years of experience successfully managing various projects in biologics, pharmaceutical, bioengineering or related industry
- Require working knowledge of Project Management, and Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point software
- Prefer working knowledge of AutoCAD software for facility drawings
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated, organized and detail-oriented
- Require domestic and international travel (<20%)
